overused.

Love should never be like this. It shouldn’t be consumed all at once consecutively in the same amount every single day. It should be felt randomly and in spurts where it seems necessary. Where things like ” I miss you ” is said after a week of not seeing each other instead of saying it every single second on the phone. It shouldn’t be said so easily and come out of one’s mouth so abruptly. It should be whispered into one’s ear ever so softly that they shiver and get chills from hearing your voice. Love should be like the first time you laid eyes on someone and you could never get tired of saying how remarkable they look. It’s not that love is overused today, but we often say that we feel too much, we love too much, we do this and that too much and we take everything for granted. And we fall too quickly and fall out of love before we actually begin to understand the other person and start to look elsewhere. What happened to love being patient? Love should be patient, so patient you’d be willing to wait days, weeks, months, years for a particular person. It shouldn’t be the first chance you have to get with someone and it shouldn’t be rushed. If you rush into it you’ll realize how quickly you’d be able to dispose it and if you rush into it, you’ll miss all the details that make every moment count. The random late night conversations, the simple texts, the casual dates. Wouldn’t you rather fall in love with someone slowly, bit by bit, as you get to know them instead of falling for them all at once? And what happens then? Love would be overused. And then when there isn’t anymore you can do, what else  is there besides love? Isn’t it kind of sad..yes.
